Remote anxiety consultations - Australia-wide

When anxiety runs
the whole day

Persistent anxiety isn't just uncomfortable - it quietly takes over decisions, sleep, and relationships. Happyheartglow works with people who are tired of managing it alone.

The specific problem

Anxiety that doesn't switch off

Most people who reach out aren't experiencing a single dramatic episode. They're dealing with something that's been building quietly - a background hum of worry that shows up in overthinking at 2 am, in avoiding certain conversations, in feeling exhausted before the day even starts.

This kind of anxiety is particularly hard to address because it doesn't feel like a crisis. It feels like personality. The work here is learning to tell the difference between the two - and that takes more than a few breathing exercises.

The sessions focus on patterns that repeat across situations - not isolated incidents. That's where the useful change tends to happen.

The objection most people carry

Three things people wonder before starting

"I've tried talking about it before and nothing changed."

Talking about anxiety and working with the structure behind it are different things. Most sessions spend less time on what happened and more time on how the mind responds - which is where patterns can actually shift.

"Online sessions feel less real than in-person."

That's a fair concern. In practice, most people find remote sessions easier to be honest in - there's less social pressure in your own space. The format has been used here since 2017 and works well for this kind of work.

"I'm not sure my anxiety is bad enough to warrant help."

Anxiety doesn't need to be debilitating to be worth addressing. If it's affecting at least 3 areas of daily life - sleep, work, relationships - that's enough reason to look at it properly rather than wait for it to get worse.

What the work actually involves

This takes real engagement

Sessions are 50 minutes, typically weekly. Between sessions, there's usually something to try - not homework in the school sense, but small experiments in real situations. The work happens mostly outside the session, not during it.

Most people notice something shifting around the 4th or 5th session - not a dramatic change, but a moment where the old response doesn't quite land the same way. That's usually the signal that something structural is moving.

Understanding fit before you commit

What this doesn't cover

Being clear about limits isn't a disclaimer - it's how you know whether to keep reading. These sessions work well for persistent anxiety, overthinking, and avoidance patterns that have become habitual. They're not the right fit for every situation.

If you're in acute crisis, experiencing psychotic symptoms, or need a clinical diagnosis for legal or insurance purposes, a GP or psychiatrist is the right first step. This service doesn't replace that, and won't pretend to.

  • Active suicidal ideation or crisis requiring immediate clinical intervention
  • Situations requiring medication management or psychiatric assessment
  • People looking for a fixed programme with guaranteed weekly outcomes
  • Couples or group sessions - individual 1:1 format only

If you're unsure whether your situation fits, the initial 30-minute call is the right place to find out - before any decision is made.
